BEFORE I AFTER

Every room fulfills specific needs and requirements. To achieve this goal and maximize the potential of each room, we make changes on a variety of levels. Here are some examples of how we've transformed spaces.

The house   has a wonderful view of a nature reserve to the southeast. Unfortunately, there was a shed on this side and no   Windows. We have these two sides with large windows   to open the house to nature.

We have the living room with the bedroom   replaced and the suspended ceiling in the living room was removed to create a feeling of more spacious   and let the sky in.

Partition walls were removed and a fireplace was installed.

large terrace with sauna and hotspot to make the wellness retreat perfect.

Outside: black heated larch rhombus interlocking

The view of a staircase always evokes a subconscious sense of unease. We covered the banister and added a color contrast to it and the staircase walls to create a sense of calm in the living room . We installed a fireplace for added coziness. The sofa suite and coffee table were designed by Tim Löhr.

We opened up this narrow room on the left and connected it to the living room . We exposed the beautiful old beams , creating a spacious and cozy living room. We closed the door to the entrance area and converted it into a hallway-side coat rack .

To let more light into the room, we installed another window on the right.

Since a large family wants to cook frequently and spend a lot of time in this kitchen , we enlarged the space - moving the back wall by one meter.

We wanted plenty of light in the room and a beautiful view of the greenery while cooking. To achieve this, we added another window and rotated the kitchen unit 90° along the window. To create height and bring the old charm of the half-timbered house into the kitchen, we exposed the ceiling beams . In addition to the dining table for 6, we created another small, cozy seating area in front of the stove.

The renowned notary and law firm on Ku'damm was designed to create a new feeling upon entry. It was to be bright and spacious, yet appear high-quality and modest. We removed walls ,   the new waiting room is connected by a glass wall, the opposite wall is also offset and has windows   so that daylight enters the reception area from both sides. The unusual 60° angle of the corner building is created by Meinekestrasse, which runs diagonally towards Ku'damm , and reminds you that you are at the corner of Ku'damm and Meineckestrasse in the heart of Berlin. Since this law firm was founded here in 1959, we wanted to emphasize this feeling and have placed other walls, such as the counter and the light hanging above it, at this angle . The layout of the rooms has been completely redesigned.   designed, as well as the lighting concept, colors and materials.
